I saw a newspaper piece which quoted an article in the British Medical Journal which cited proof that people with strong spiritual beliefs recover faster from bereavement than those who have no such beliefs. I wonder of this applies to non-spiritual belief systems such as Alphomism.

Benedict,I feel that faith: as in a deep and sincere belief in any religion/philosophy, provides impetus to many things; not just the physical healing process.
